Risk & Safety

    Reliability, Availability & Maintainability (RAM)
  • RAM analysis is a systematic analysis to predict system availability, reliability and maintainability. RAM identify ways to improve the system, quantify the impacts; rank the proposed initiatives; understand possible interactions between various revamp projects; and select the most cost-effective solutions for needs.
    Risk Based Inspection (RBI)
  • RBI is a way to prioritize inspection, based on the combined risk level of individual equipments. Risk level is connected with equipments' operation. The connection is established using systematic quantitative analysis.
    Pipeline Integrity Management System (PIMS)
  • PIMS program is a program that manages all activities (monitoring, control, documentation, etc). The function is to assure that the pipeline remains in a safe condition throughout its operational lifetime.
    Safety Integrity Level (SIL)
  • Safety Integrity Level (SIL) is the discrete level for specifying the safety integrity requirements of the safety functions that needs to be allocated to the E/E/PE safety-related systems. SIL 4 has the highest level of safety integrity and SIL 1 has the lowest. E/E/PES is a term introduced by IEC-61508 standard, which stands for Electrical/Electronic/Programmable Electronic Systems.
    Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)
  • A structured process, originally developed in the airline industry, but now commonly used in all industries to determine the equipment maintenance strategies required for any physical assets. It is used to ensure that the assets continue to fulfill their intended functions in their present operating condition.
    Fitness-For-Service (FFS)
  • Fitness for Service assessment is an assessment tool that evaluates the ability to demonstrate the structural integrity of an in-service component that contains flaws and damages.
    Maintenance Assessment Protocol (MAP)
  • MAP sets a platform to evaluate or assess present levels of maintenance performance within a company and compare the performance to a best practice methods, or company specific performance criteria.
    Asset Performance Assessment (APA)
  • APA is a systematic process that evaluates or assesses present levels of overall asset performance within a company and compares the performance to a best practice or client specific performance criteria. It is to develop a plan for moving forward to achieve expected targets and finally recommend the best actions to achieve improved perfomance.
    Mechanical Integrity System (MIS)
  • Mechanical Integrity is a program that manages all activities (monitoring, control, documentation, etc). This program assures that all components work together in a plant or facility in safe condition throughout its operational lifetime.
    Engineering Documentation Management System (EDMS)
  • EDMS is a Document Management system that supports engineering document such as detailed equipment specifications, drawings, reports, etc. EDMS is a part of Asset Integrity Management System. EDMS Pro system is integrated with maintenance and inspection system that would maximize its function.
